Since 2013, Amethyst House has been holding a fall benefit concert at the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre as its main annual fundraiser. Previous headliners have included local beloved artist Carrie Newcomer, the Americana Music Honors & Awards multi-award winner, Jason Isbell, both sell-out shows, critically-acclaimed folk-blues-country artist, Justin Townes Earle, rich folk artist Greg Brown, blues artist Rory Block and folk and gospel singer Iris DeMent and Anders Osborne, and openers Jason Ricci, Kate Long, Busman's Holiday, and Charlie Jesseph to name a few. For our tenth year anniversary, we want to highlight local artists in Bloomington and celebrate a decade of fundraising for our organization.
